Wool Tape, such as this Off-White Worsted Wool Simple Twill Tape was used extensively in the 18th century. It was found on petticoat & gown hems, wallets, jackets, Regimental coats, Indigenous American and First Nation garments, bed hangings and slipcovers. Hats were bound in it and garments closed with it.

- If you wish to dye this tape we suggest you use "disperse dye" applied at an increased heat of 115 degrees, which will soften the yarn and allow the dye to disperse evenly.
